蒸気波の美学
Vaporwave emerged in the early 2010s as a microgenre of electronic music and an internet aesthetic movement. It samples heavily from 1980s and 1990s corporate muzak, smooth jazz, and lounge music, often slowed down and chopped into surreal soundscapes.
The visual aesthetic combines Roman busts, Japanese text, 90s web design, Windows 95 interfaces, palm trees, dolphins, and pastel gradients. It's simultaneously nostalgic for and critical of consumer capitalism and the unfulfilled promises of digital utopia.
